Let’s impeach the president for lying
And leading our country into war
Abusing all the power that we gave him
And shipping all our money out the door

He’s the man who hired all the criminals
The White House shadows who hide behind closed doors
And bend the facts to fit with their new stories
Of why we have to send our men to war

Let’s impeach the president for spying
On citizens inside their own homes
Breaking every law in the country
By tapping our computers and telephones

What if Al Qaeda blew up the levees
Would New Orleans have been safer that way
Sheltered by our government’s protection
Or was someone just not home that day?

Let’s impeach the president
For hijacking our religion and using it to get elected
Dividing our country into colors
And still leaving black people neglected

Thank god he’s cracking down on steroids
Since he sold his old baseball team
There’s lot of people looking at big trouble
But of course the president is clean

Thank God

Myth of the Redheads!

According to a legend, Prince Idon of Mu discovered Atlantis just in time to move his people to the new Continent before his land was destroyed by natural catastrophe.

He came to Atlantis during sunset, and immediately fell in love with the new land. The sky and clouds were of beautiful red color, reflecting the rays of the setting sun. The leaves of trees were moved by a gentle breeze.

Prince Idon wanted to save that beauty for all generations to see. His wish came true. The image was permanently imprinted in his own looks. His hair turned red, like the color of the sky. His face was covered with freckles, the image of the leaves.

Ever since then, any time someone is looking at a redhead, he sees the image of that first sunset in Atlantis.

Because every single redhead descended from Prince Idon, who then became the first King of Atlantis, every redhead is a Prince or a Princess of Atlantis.

From: http://www.redprince.net/

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two “wolves” inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather. “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

-unknown

Thanks to prince-cosmic for sharing!

YOU ARE THE CREATOR OF PEACE

Peace, like out breath, exists very comfortably and very close to us. Peace is our very breath and life. This is why anyone can discover peace and help to bring it about. Peace is everyone's purpose in life, not the province of a few select individuals. It is not something that a select group of politicians, artists, or even religious leaders can do for us. You and I, one individual at a time, are all creators and benefactors of peace, as well as its beneficiaries. Until now, responsibility for peace fell on people of influence. Now we must reclaim our own responsibility and right to peace. Those who truly love humanity, the Earth, and peace are experts in peace. One who truly loves life is a specialist in peace.

The first step toward peace is to realize that you yourself are the creator and benefactor of peace. You have a responsibility to change the unsustainable direction of current civilization, and you have the power to change the direction of humanity toward peace.

from Peaceology (Dahn Yoga)

Stop overpacking -- literally and metaphorically. The universe knows exactly what you need, so why are you so paranoid about being underprepared? Trust that you'll receive exactly what you need just when you need it.

What you need to believe to Support Bush

Gakked from LJ universe

Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but a multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is socialism. HMOs and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.

Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.

Supporting "Executive Privilege" for every Republican ever born, who will be born or who might be born (in perpetuity.)

What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant.

A Snapshot of your life as it might have been in 1905

http://www.pbs.org/manorhouse/1905/index.html

You live alone and have a private income!

Education
Your parents send you to a private school and despite the fact that you are bright and enjoy school you leave at 16.

Career Prospects
When you're young you do some household chores but don't do any work in the kitchen. When your mother dies you're left the house and a private income and your spinster friend comes to live with you. You believe strongly in the need to improve the quality of food and sanitation for the poor so you join a commission on public health and campaign for improvements.

Leisure Time
You eat your main meal (meat and vegetables) in the evening, except on Sundays. You support the church by sewing kneeler covers, arranging flowers and raising money for charity. You learn the piano and enjoy going to the theatre and musical concerts in the local town. Every week you make time to borrow books from the mobile library that passes through your village.

Living Conditions
You employ two servants who live in your house but are unimpressed with the quality of their work.

Marital Relations
The man from the parish you are engaged to is killed at war. You never marry which will set you apart from most of your contemporaries.

World War One
When World War One starts you join a women's auxiliary force and survive to be awarded a 1914 Star and a bronze Victory Medal.
